Global School Partners is a Not-For-Profit organization that was legally registered according to the rules and regulations of Kenya under section 10 of the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Act,in the year 2014.
The main objective is to enable school students to receive a complete education in an environment where they have access to adequate resources and facilities and where there nutritional and health requirements are met.This means the students have adequate:
-School buildings
-School furniture
-Qualified teachers
-Classroom resources {like text and exercise books,stationery,equipment etc}
-Hygiene and sanitation facilities
-Food
Specific Objectives
-To encourage individual schools to initiate projects that will empower the schools economically
-To offer opportunities for members to gain knowledge and skills to run and manage their schools in a sustainable manner
-To mobilize funds for the group,with a 75% of members agreeing on the group projects to be undertaken
-To encourage and assist the members to prioritize and start self sustainable economic projects that will promote children academics and their general health and well being
-To inspect school projects from time to time
-To write reports and present any evidence on,on-going or completed project to donors and any sponsors
-To encourage accountable,transparent and prudent use of funds availed to schools for projects aimed at assisting pupils and students
As at the moment,members are from both public and private schools in the Nyamira and Kisii Counties of Kenya but meant to run across the country and beyond.
